If this feels like déjà vu, it’s because Liverpool has had history with Adidas before, from 1985-1996 and then again from 2006-2012.

Now, they’re bringing back the three stripes, though the exact length of the deal hasn’t been disclosed. Reports suggest it’s a five-year agreement worth over $77 million per season.

For context, Manchester United holds the Premier League's biggest kit deal, bagging $116 million per year from Adidas in a deal signed last summer.

Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan is hyped about the reunion, saying: “We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time.”

“Adidas and Liverpool share an ambition of success and we couldn't be more excited to partner together again as we look forward to creating more incredible kits to help drive on pitch performance.”

“We’d like to thank Nike for their support over the last five years and wish them well for the future.”
